Condolence: Sultan Johor passed away

 

 

The Sultan of Johor, Sultan Iskandar Ibni Almarhum Sultan Ismail, passed away at the Puteri Specialist Hospital in Johor Baru at 7.08pm on Friday. He was 77 years old.

Our 100th year celebration is getting more excited with new stamps and first day covers. Have a sneak preview on the designs. Nicely designed by our Mr Hoo We Tak and Mr Lai See Ming. 

The first day covers are dated 22nd May 2008 and will be available in post offices nationwide.

Expressway Emergency Medical Service

In view of the raising fatal motor vehicle accidents (MVA) on major roads and the North-South Highway during festive seasons, our Commander-in-Chief, Y.Bhg. Dato’ Dr. Low Bin Tick had come up with the idea of Expressway Emergency Medical Service. This service was mooted by him in year 1996 in conjunction with the double festival celebration – Chinese New Year and Hari Raya Aidilfitri.
