| Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Tunku
Ampuan Durah (SMKTAD), Seremban, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia,
had been founded due to the successful implementation of the,
‘Dasar Pelajaran Kebangsaan’ which had been announced through
the, ‘Laporan Penyata Razak 1958’. This is a premier school
and, ‘Sekolah Harian Berasrama’, for the purpose of facilitating
students from outskirt of town. Numerous associations has been
formed to increase the students’ curriculum percentage. Among
them are the English Language Society, Economy Society, St.
John Ambulance Uniform Body, Fire Brigade Uniform Body, and
many more.
In 1997, Madam Chua Chin Chin had taken succeeded the post

First Seremban Combind Cadet Division (FSCCD). According to
her, at that time the division was never active. Only 3 highest
Committee members had been appointed and merely 23 students
are amongst the division members. No yearly activities had
been conducted. The fund of the division is to say at the
lowest imaginable standards of that time.
In 2000, the First Aid Examination is held for the first
time in SMKTAD’s hall for all the members’ of the First Seremban
Combined Cadet Division (FSCCD). 3 years later, the Chairperson
of the division, Sia Pei Shan had revived all yearly activities
as planned in the past years. In January, a Recruitment Drive
Exhibition had been conducted to attract more students, especially
the new comers to this school to join this division. The Anti
Drug Abuse Course had also been organised solely for the division
members. In March till July, the Proficiency Courses to obtain
Badges and the Foot drill Competition had also been a successful
event in the division. The First Examination had also been
held for the second time with the support and hard work from
all the Committee members.
In 2004, chairman Lee Chan Hoe had continue to implement
yearly activities. He had also conducted the foot drill training,
First Aid Classes, Nursing Course, and Foot Drill Competition
for the division members. It is compulsory for the division
members to participate in the First Aid duties for the 2004
State Level ‘Merentas Desa’ Competition to stand by for safety
purpose. In February and May, a ‘Station Games’ activity had
been conducted solely for the purpose of promoting better
ties between old and new members.
In 2005, members of the division had participated in numerous
duties for ‘Merentas Desa’ school level, state level, Foot
Drill Competition, and other competitions led by Chairperson
Peggy Wong. Members also attended the SJAM Officers Conference
which was held in the SJAM NS Head Quarter. Enrolment also
