In 1971, Mr. Lai See Ming and Mr Chua Poh Soon formed the 10th Seremban Combined Division. At that time there was only one English Speaking division in the State. With the formation of this division, we were able to gather ex-cadets into an adult division. In the following year, Mr. Lai See Ming led an ambulance adult team that took part in the Corps First Aid and Home Nursing Competition. The team won the Corps Competition and emerged as champion at the Negeri Sembilan State Competition.  His team then represented the State of Negeri Sembilan at the National First Aid and Home Nursing Competitions held in Penang.

The Division has since progressed tremendously and many activities were held for example Annual trips, organizing first aid course and leadership trainings

Members have been actively involved with activities organized by the Area or State. Assistant and providing manpower in Annual Camps and courses have been a yearly affair for our members.
Our members were fully occupied with Public Duties throughout the year. We performed duties at various functions organized by the Government Departments, and private organizations such as Parades, Marathon, Sports, and the North-South Highway Duty (Festive Season). In addition, the 10th Combined Division regularly organized Proficiency Badges Course and aims to produce more ‘Grand Prior’s Badge’ holders in Negeri Sembilan.

On 4th February 2007, the division organized a Leadership Course lead by Adult L/Cpl Choon Min Wai which involves the participation from various schools in First Ns Area such as St. Paul, STAN, STAD and Sheikh Ahmad. The objective of this course was mainly to expose members with correct form filling procedure, enhance good leadership, as well as the importance of records. Acting Chief of Staff (Operation) cum Hons. Secretary General of SJAM Mr. Lai See Ming, SJAM NS Hons. Secretary, Mr. Raman and Area Commander of 1st NS Area Mr. Philip Chew were invited to deliver their talk on particular topics.

Last year, the adult members under the leadership of D/O Lim Chun Kit successfully organized the Area Cadet Camp in conjunction with the Area’s 35th Anniversary Celebration which was held from 18th – 21st December at a National Service Camp, Kem Seri Perkasa Mantin.
During this camp 4 of our adult members Chin Jong Hoong, Goh Shen Loong, Lim Yao Fui and Wong Cheok Hoong. were promoted to the rank of Adult L/Cpl by Area Commander Mr. Philip Chew.
In addition, the 10th Combined members successfully organized a Blood Donation Drive which was held on the 1st and 2nd of March 2008 in Jusco Seremban 2. The Campaign was held to commemorate the Area’s 35th Anniversary.
