This year the National First Aid & Nursing Competition was held in University Teknologi Malaysia, Skudai, Johor on the 31st May and 1st June 2008. The Golden Jubilee Competition is also an official event for the SJAM 100th Year Anniversary Celebration. The highlight of the event was the “St. John Torch Run Relay” as part of the Opening Ceremony and the Grand Dinner which was held after the competition in The Zon Regency Hotel. Deputy Minister of Education, YB. Ir. Dr. Wee Ka Siong officially closed the event. Prizes were given out during the dinner.

The Blood Donation Campaign was held on 1st and 2nd March 2008 at the lobby of Jusco Seremban 2, from 10 a.m. to 4p.m. The programme was the first blood donation campaign of 2008 held by the 10th Combined Division of First NS Area.

The Cadet Camp 2007 was held in conjunction with the First NS Area 35th Anniversary in 2008. There were 165 participants from various divisions namely the 10th Combine Division, First Seremban Ambulance Cadet Division, First Seremban Nursing Cadet Division, First Seremban Combine Cadet Division and the Second Seremban Combine Cadet Division. Proficiency course such as Fire Fighting was conducted by the Mantin Fire Brigade whereas the Map Reading & Water Rescue Course was conducted by the National Service Trainers. The highlight of the camp was the campfire held on the final night.
